The organization was created in 1964 under the Youth Faubourg name to offer young people the central districts of Quebec one day colony in the country. It was only in 2004, upon his arrival at the Community Centre Lucien-Borne, the non-profit organization takes the name Recreation Faubourg. Recognized by the City of Quebec, the organization still serves on the Lucien-Borne center, a building which is responsible for the animation. So this is where he plans all of its leisure activities, both recreational, cultural and sport for the population of the surrounding areas and the population of Quebec. The following objectives define the mission of the Recreation Faubourg.
