Camp Discovery provides children living with type 1 diabetes with opportunities to enjoy an authentic camp experience while having all of their diabetes needs monitored by a dedicated team of trained medical professionals. Campers are empowered to self-manage diabetes in a supportive, nurturing environment, make connections with other kids who “get” diabetes and develop a sense of independence through active outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking, campfires and canoeing.
