The Strathcona Wilderness Centre encourages people to make healthy lifestyles choices and to directly experience nature through outdoor recreation and environmental education opportunities for families, individuals, schools and groups. All participants are encouraged to learn about the natural environment and to conserve and preserve it for future generations. The Strathcona Wilderness Centre offers lodge for rent to groups (up to 41 people), walk-in tenting sites, camping, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, walking, wildlife viewing, disc golf, canoeing (off-site). Families, schools, homeschoolers, and group programs can check out our seasonal programs, birthday parties, private lessons and semi-private lessons year round. Our highly qualified outdoor educators will lead unique and unforgettable outdoor experiences for you.
